Went down to Bay Area Rods in Poole last week to have my whitewalls done .... run by Gary Janes (previous owner of Dooster).... just wanted to say what a nice friendly Hot Rod shop it is. Gary had time to talk about the projects that were in at the moment, the plans for them , the problems they have faced ... and overcome.
Bay Area Rods can work on your traditional Rod or produce a Volksrod out of your standard Beetle !
I bought some Rat screen posts off him for my '32 project ..... dug out from the hoard of great parts he has there....and talked about future work to be done on it ...sorting steering, front suspension, etc.
So if your down that way, call in and check out the great work they are doing there.
